She has been a VCAA examination assessor for Mathematical Methods and Specialist Mathematics, has written a range of texts for both courses, and regularly presents teacher workshops on CAS technology.
Janet Hunter is Head of Mathematics at Ascham School, Edgecliff, where she has spent most of her teaching career of over 30 years. She has been a senior HSC examiner and judge, an HSC Advice Line adviser, and recently co-authored Maths in Focus 12 Mathematics Extension 2.
Stephen Swift is the lead author of Nelson Think Maths 7–10 and Nelson Senior Maths for the Australian Curriculum: Mathematical Methods and Specialist Mathematics. He has taught all levels of mathematics in several states.
