Nelson Literacy Directions 5 Exemplar Cards provide carefully levelled fiction and non-fiction texts to be used for guided or independent reading practice. Each card features 'Making Meaning' comprehension questions which mirror the reading comprehension process in which making meaning is undertaken during reading, and not at a separate stage.
