Our Government

Our Government is a Social Studies book designed to help young New Zealanders to develop knowledge and understandings about people's organisation in groups, and the rights, roles and responsibilities of people as they operate within those groups. It relates to: ' the acquisition and exercise of leadership of groups ' groups making decisions that affect people ' different systems of government ' the impact of government on individuals, communities and societies members of society. The approach is investigative. Resources and activities work together to provide a framework in which the process of learning is as important as the end-content.
