If you are a busy teacher, you will know only too well the sinking feeling that overcomes you when it’s almost concert time again and you have to find a play suitable for your class to perform.

The class item needs to involve as many children as possible, be simple and inexpensive to stage, and be entertaining. If there is an historical, educational or conservation perspective, then so much the better.
