Discovering Light in Nature

Did you know that wombats’ fur glows? Or that a glow-worm glows more brightly when it’s hungry? All kinds of light can be found in nature – from fireflies in dark forests to the Sun and stars in the sky above us. Scientists are finding out more and more about plants and animals that glow, including fish, coral, mushrooms and even flying squirrels!
