Pearson Science Student Companion 8 (v9.0 Curriculum)

Pearson Secondary Teaching Hub Science has been developed in consultation with educators from across Australia to support schools that want to use digital and printed resources in a flexible way to simplify teaching and energise learning in the science classroom.

 

It delivers a complete teaching and learning solution aligned to the Australian Curriculum Version 8.4 and 9.0 for Years 7 to 10, featuring:

The Pearson Secondary Teaching Hub Science Student Companions must be used with a Pearson Secondary Teaching Hub Science subscription.

 

 

The Pearson Secondary Teaching Hub Year 8 Science Student Companion complements the digital SkillBuilders, following the same skills continuum and offering a worksheet activity for each skill for each stage of the curriculum.

 

The questions and activities utilise a gradual release of responsibility. They start with the key information, then a worked example, followed by an independent, applied task. Each Student Companion SkillBuilder includes a reflection activity for students to process what they learned and how it applies to the real world. Teachers can find answers to these activities in the teaching notes.
