WA Set of 6 Abstract Reasoning Tests - Yr 6 for Yr 7 Selective School Entrance [Updated in 2024]

This exam pack is designed to assist students getting ready for the GATE (Gifted and Talented Secondary Selective Entry Program) entrance exam (for entrance into Western Australia selective schools). It contains 6 exams for the abstract reasoning section. All exams are multiple choice with recommended time limits provided.

Note: all packages are delivered as digital books (PDFs). All purchases can be downloaded for immediate use. Multiple choice answers are provided with brief explanations.

For the best results we recommend that students first attempt our tests under exam conditions following the listed time constraints and then review their performance to identify areas that need improvement. Also note in order to replicate the actual exam accurately our tests are extremely difficult to complete within the allotted time. We advise students not to get too discouraged if they are unable to perform well on our practice tests. Part of the process when reviewing their performance on our practice tests should involve students devising strategies to complete certain types of questions with greater speed and accuracy. In this way they will be better prepared should they encounter similar questions in future tests.
